RIVERSIDE SPEEDWAY
PREPARES FOR
THE BIG PRE-HANGOVER EVENT
Track preparation has
begun in earnest to get the racing surface together for the 3rd Annual
Pre-hangover 250, presented by Rick's Renovations and Dan's Contracting and
Mobile Homeworks at Riverside Speedway in Groveton, New Hampshire. The event
is set to go green on Saturday, December 27th at 2pm. The pit area will open
for competitors at 9am.
"We have been grooming
the track since last Wednesday and it really is coming together, stated
General Manager, Dick Therrien. We have about a solid four inches of frozen
base that is going to make things interesting when the snow cover gets worn
off. We have had significant snows and we are working feverishly to keep up
with it and trying to get ahead if possible. One thing is for sure, we won't
have to worry about having a snow covered surface. The inaugural edition of
the event in 2006 did not see any snow cover until the day prior to the event
when eight inches of snow fell making the ultimate race surface. I am
thoroughly excited and we have a large number of pre-entries, and lots of
people say they are all ready to race but haven't signed up yet. It is going
to be one heck of a Pre-Hangover!"
