RIVERSIDE SPEEDWAY AND P.A.S.S.
JOIN FORCES FOR 2006

On the heels of an agreement between Riverside Speedway owner CJ Robinson, and the new track lessee, Dick Therrien, for Therrien to take over the facility in 2006, comes another major announcement. Therrien and P.A.S.S. President, Tom Mayberry have put together a package that will allow Riverside Speedway to be sanctioned by P.A.S.S. for 2006.

"I am ecstatic about this agreement to fall in under the P.A.S.S. sanction. This is nothing but positive for Riverside Speedway racers, fans and management. This agreement is going to help elevate Riverside to the next level. Myself and the P.A.S.S. organization worked very well together last season and it proved very successful for both groups. We have some big plans for 2006, and I am excited about our new partnership" stated Therrien.

P.A.S.S. mentor, Tom Mayberry feels very strongly as well about the deal. "Dick is a very intense and dedicated to the sport of auto racing, and making Riverside Speedway successful. His superior efforts in 2005 made our two events at Riverside, extremely successful. His hospitality was second to none on the P.A.S.S. Tour, and the race teams are looking forward to returning in 2006." Our agreement will definitely benefit both organizations.

P.A.S.S. will be returning to Riverside Speedway for two events in 2006. On Sunday, June 4th, The P.A.S.S. Super Late Models (formerly Pro Stocks) will invade Riverside along with Riverside's own Late Models, P.A.S.S. Mods, Legacy Cars and a 100 lap Cyclone Enduro. Then on August 4th and 5th, the huge two day SUMMERFEST 2006 hits the Speedway. On Friday, August 4th, Monster Truck Madness strikes at Riverside, along with a 100 lap Street Stock event paying $500 to win, plus Angels, Daredevils and $100 to win Spectator Drags. On Saturday night, August 5th, the new P.A.S.S. Outlaw Late Models will make their inaugural appearance along with the P.A.S.S. Mods, Legacy Cars, Super Stocks and a 100 lap Cyclone Enduro. Their will be a special two day ticket for this event, and free camping will be available.
