    Welcome to another Riverside Rumblings. Spring is here, or at least that is what they are saying. Planning a trip over to Riverside this week to see what's happening. We shouldn't have to worry about flooding this spring with most of the snow on the hills already pretty well melted!
 
P.A.S.S. MOTORSPORTS EXTRAVAGANZA THIS WEEKEND
 
    Riverside Speedway will have a booth at the P.A.S.S. Motorsports Extravaganza at Scarborough Downs, the horsde racing track in Scarborough, Maine this weekend. Jamie Swallow Sr. will have his new P.A.S.S. legal, Outlaw Late Model on display in our booth. Show hours are Friday 4-10pm, Saturday 10am-10pm and Sunday 11am-3pm. There will be racecars, souvenir apparel, collectibles, die cast, videos, daily autograph sessions and a whole lot more. Admission is just $7.50 for adults, ages 6-12 $2.50, and kids 5 and under are free. Get off the couch and take a nice ride this weekend.
 
LICENSING INFORMATION UPDATE
 
    Don't forget, ALL Late Model, Super Stock and Street Stock drivers have to have a Riverside Speedway drivers license. The cost for a license is $75.00 if purchased before April 1, 2006, $85.00 if purchased after April 1, 2006. Each crew-member will also need a Riverside Crew-members license for 2006. The Crew-members license will be $55.00 if purchased before April 1, 2006, $65 if purchased after April 1, 2006. The weekly pit fees will be $20 with a license and $25 for non-licensed. Savings with a license will be approximately $70.00 for the season. The cost of a one day drivers license will be $20.00 in 2006, plus the pit fee of $20.00.
 
    In 2006, ALL Cyclone, Angels and Daredevil Youth racer drivers must have a Riverside Speedway license. The cost for this license will be $35. Cyclone and Angel entry fees will be $25 per event plus the $20 pit fee with a license. Non-licensed drivers will pay $30 entry fee per event plus the $25 pit fee. All Daredevil Youth Racers will also have to purchase a $35 license. This is mandatory in 2006, no matter how many races you plan to run. Daredevils will also pay a $10.00 pit fee each race. All Cyclone, Angels and Daredevil crew members are urged to purchase a Crew-members license for 2006, as it will save you money event. DON'T FORGET, ORDER LICENSES BEFORE APRIL 1, 2006 AND SAVE.
 
    
 
RESERVE YOUR CAR #'s NOW!
 
   You may do so by filling out your license registration form by filling it out on our website www.riversidespeedway.org. All license forms to reserve your car number must be accompanied by a check made out to Riverside Speedway for the proper amount. NO DUPLICATE CAR NUMBERS WILL BE ALLOWED! NO 2VT & 2NH WILL BE ALLOWED EITHER.

SLABS AVAILABLE TO ANY INTERESTED RACE TEAMS
 
    There are still some slabs available for any race team in any division. the slabs are $200 for the season. Contact me if interested.
 
    Check out the schedule on the website. It has been updated and a few changes have been made, as well as some additions to dates.
 
    Welcome back to the Dwarf cars for the 2006 racing season. The North Country Dwarf Cars will be competing in six events in 2006. They have regrouped and appear to be able to put close to a dozen or better cars on the track each show.
 
    Something new will be making their first appearance ever on the asphalt at Riverside Speedway. The Gilmour Ford Sportsman Coupes will invade Riverside twice in 2006. These speedy little creatures will be running a pair of Lavalley Building Supply, Twin State Series events on the asphalt
on Friday night July 14th and Friday night, September 15th both of which will be point counting events. mark these dates on your calendar as must see events.
 
NEW TRACK PHOTOGRAPHER WANTED
 
    I am looking for a new track photographer for 2006. You need to have a good digital camera, with a telephoto lens and big flash. It is a paid position. Unfortunately, last years photographer is unable to do the job this year. Contact me if you are interested or if you know of anyone that is interested.
 
    Our numbers are looking good for 2006. This should be an awesome year. Many people are looking for Street Stocks and Cyclones / Daredevils / Angels. contact me if you know of any for sale.
