ALL-STAR CAR SHOW TO OPEN  

 

RIVERSIDE SPEEDWAY SCHEDULE FOR 2007

 

            Riverside Speedway in Groveton, New Hampshire is all set to kick open the doors on Saturday, May 12th with the Annual All-Star Car Show presented this year by NAPA and Eastman Trophy. The car show will be held at the Speedway beginning at 11am. The show will wrap up at 1pm, with practice for all divisions to follow until the track closes at 3:30pm.

 

            With well over one hundred cars registered to compete at the high banked, quarter mile Northern New Hampshire speed plant, a large field is expected to challenge for the best of show awards. The Gilmour Jeep / Ford / Dodge Late Models, Griswold Concrete Outlaw Sportsman, Budweiser Super Stocks, River Bend RV Street Stocks, Twisted Tea Dwarf Cars, Jiffy Mart Cyclones, Wildman Auto Daredevils and the Riverside Angels will all have their new racers on display, and will be taking them to the track to try and shakedown any preseason bugs.

 

            The pit area opens at 8am, with technical inspections getting underway at 8:30. Track photographer, Melissa Keyser will be taking photos starting at 10am. Cars will be lined up all around the track for the fans to enjoy. There will be no charge for the grandstands.

 

            The racing season gets underway the following Saturday with an open practice for all divisions from 11am-3pm. Then on Sunday, May 20th, the doors blow open for 2007 as the PASS Outlaw Late Models, and PASS Mods will team up with Riverside’s brand new Outlaw Sportsman division, Street Stocks and Dwarf Cars with a post time of 2pm. Grandstands will open at noon.
