Riverside Speedway Announces 2010 Enduro Racing Schedule
Riverside Speedway general managers Jean and Jane LeBlanc, are pleased to announce their 2010 enduro racing schedule.
Returning after several years of absence will be the V6/V8 enduro division. Mark your calendar for Saturday May 29th, Friday June 25th, Wednesday July 14th, and Wednesday August 25th. The number of laps for each event will be determined based upon the number of cars that show up on race night. There might be a chance to add a final event on the Frost Bite 250 weekend. That will depend upon the interest generated by the return of the full size enduros.
The Jiffy Mart Cyclone division will have three 100 lap $250 to win events. On Friday June 25th, Wednesday July 14th and Wednesday August 25th, the Cyclones/Enduro cars will battle 100 laps for the top prize. On these nights, the Frost Bite 250 rules will be in effect. The Riverside Cyclones racers will all get a set 100 points for taking the green flag for these big money races.
Speaking of the Frost Bite 250, the “Grand Daddy” of them all, it has been scheduled for Saturday October 16th 1 p.m. The winner of the Frost Bite 250, will take home a cool $5000. Entry forms for both types of enduro racing will be posted on the speedway’s website.
