The Northeast Classic Lites will return to the high banks of Riverside Speedway in 2010. The speedway’s new General Mangers Jean and LeBlanc are excited to have one of the most popular touring divisions in the northeast, return to Groveton speed plant.

“Jim Ryder’s group of racers put on one heck of show,” said GM Jean LeBlanc. “Last year after a couple of early cautions, the racers finished off their feature in a blink of an eye with some awesome side-by-side racing. This year should be no different. The tour is attracting more drivers. The Classic Lites’ event at Riverside will be a point race and we could see an excess of twenty racers.”

Riverside Speedway will open their pit area earlier on that day for the Classic Lites. “That will allow the drivers plenty of time to get their racers dialed in.” LeBlanc said. “These guys have to travel a long distance. Getting used to the track allows a driver to be able to race their car to the maximum. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some two and three wide racing!”

Riverside Speedway is a P.A.S.S. sanctioned ¼ mile high bank track in Groveton, NH. You can visit the track’s web site at www.riversidespeedway.org for all of your current speedway news. Riverside Speedway is located off of Brown Road, “Just a Notch above the Rest”.
