TRACK PREPARATION BEGINS FOR

            The winter tradition, the 3^rd Annual Pre-Hangover 150 race in the snow, brought to you by Rick’s Renovations and Dan’s Contracting Mobile Homeworks, is set to go green at 2pm, on Saturday, December 27^th at Riverside Speedway in Groveton, New Hampshire.

            The uniquely named event has quickly become a holiday tradition for many race drivers and fans alike. Entries have been pouring in, and so far,  drivers have entered from Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and hopefully North Carolina if the weather is appropriate for hauling a trailer up through I95. Some of the entries include pickup trucks, four cylinder cars, six cylinder vehicles and the most fun on the snow includes the big V8 machines, one which will be an El Camino.

            General Manager, Dick Therrien has stated that track grooming and facility preparation is now underway, and will continue as deemed necessary right up to the day of the event. Several changes are happening this year as the track became extremely rough due to the large snowfall that occurred the day before the event. This year we will be packing it regularly as well as we will push the snow back into the infield considerably farther. Hopefully this will help eliminate a lot of vehicles from getting stuck on the infield in the early going. We might even put a couple of obstacles on the track to add a little more of a challenge for the drivers.

            “This is one of the most fun events around, and I am looking forward to a great Pre-Hangover exclaimed Therrien. This should be the best event yet, and all the excitement should get rid of everyone’s early season blues.”

            Entries for the event will be accepted right up until post time. The entry fee is only $25, and the pit fee is just $20 for those wishing to get real close to the action. Adult general admission is just $10, while juniors ages 10-14 and senior citizens 62 & up are just $8. Kids 9 and under $2. Tickets for the Pre-Hangover 150 are now on sale and would make great Stocking Stuffers and Christmas gifts. Ticket orders can be placed by phone with a credit card by calling 603-636-2005.
