NEW SPONSORS FOR RIVERSIDE SPEEDWAY PRE-HANGOVER 150 IN DECEMBER
Riverside Speedway’s General manager, Dick Therrien, is pleased to announce a pair of new sponsors for the mid-winter classic, The Pre-Hangover 150, scheduled for Saturday afternoon, December 27th at 2pm. Rick’s Renovations from East St. Johnsbury, Vermont, and Dan’s Contracting & Mobile Homeworks of West Burke, Vermont have signed on as co-sponsors for the great event. “Both of these sponsors have great reputations in the building constructions and renovations sector in our area, and they are both avid race fans, and supporters. Rick Utley and Dan Tanner spend a lot of time at the track helping out several of the race teams weekly, and chose to jump on board for the big winter snow, stated Therrien” For those of you unaware of what the Pre-Hangover is all about, it is a race run on a snow covered (hopefully) surface. The event is scheduled for 150 laps and is open to everyone, and vehicles of all types are generally in competition. No four wheel drives or all wheel drives are allowed, but you can run a car, truck, or van. It can be either a four, six or eight cylinder vehicle. The rules are very simple and can be found on the Riverside Speedway website. The winner of the event will receive a cool $500, and for the first time there will be a cash prize of $100 to the best themed vehicle on the track. Tickets for the event are just $10 for adults, $8 for Jr. & Sr. and $2 for kids 9 and under. These tickets would make great Christmas presents and stocking stuffers, and can be ordered by calling the track at 603-636-2005. Visa and Mastercard orders will be accepted over the phone. Riverside Speedway is located on the Brown Road, off of Route 3 in Groveton, New Hampshire. For more information on the track, and the Pre-Hangover 150, as well as registration forms, visit the track website at www.riversidespeedway.org.
