FAVORITE DRIVER CAMPAIGN AT RIVERSIDE

            Riverside Speedway General Manager, Dick Therrien is pleased to announce that Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply from St. Johnsbury, VT. will be sponsoring a brand new program designed to bolster the 2009 drivers point fund at the Northern New Hampshire speedplant.

            “I am very excited about this new agreement between Riverside Speedway and Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply stated General Manager, Dick Therrien. We are always looking for ways to boost the point fund and this new program will allow the race teams and fans to get involved in a very unique fundraising program. Ben Gates and his wife run a first class operation at Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply, and we are looking forward to building a great relationship with them.”

            Here’s how the program works. Each week, everyone will be able to purchase votes for their favorite drivers for 25c per vote. A tally will be kept each week leading up to the Favorite Drivers Night in August. The qualifying starting lineups for that night will be determined by the number of votes received with the top vote getters starting in the front of the field. Then, drivers will pick a can for the number of cars to be inverted for the start of the feature. All monies raised from this exciting program will go into the drivers point fund, but will stay within the division. Example: All monies raised in the Late Models will be distributed to the Late Models only, at the Annual Banquet of Champions.

            Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply is located on Passumpsic Street in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. The store is filled with discount tools, tarps and equipment. The store is a contractors paradise as well as a do-it-yourselfers playground.
