Riverside Speedway announces new Sales Manager
Riverside Speedway General Manager Curtis Robinson is pleased to
announce that longtime Riverside competitor and employee Diane Roy has
recently accepted the position of Sales Manager. The Danville, Vermont
resident will be responsible for advertising and sponsorship sales.
Diane's main goal will be to continue the long standing relationships
the track has had with its long term sponsors while also seeking new
"marketing partners" to join in the excitement. A former racer herself
and very excited with her new role with speedway Diane will hit the
ground running reaching out to businesses and individuals letting them
know that racers and their fans are the most loyal consumers out there
and that sponsorship and advertising packages can be tailored for all
budgets. Riverside Speedway sponsor hospitality is second to none.
Just ask longtime sponsors North Country Ford and Dalton Mountain
Motors both of Lancaster, NH and who recently committed again for the
2012 racing season. |

Riverside Speedway holds 2012 Rules Meeting
A large contingency of Riverside Speedway joined a full slate of
speedway officials at the Groveton Town Hall on Saturday as the two
groups got together to discuss rules and scheduling for the upcoming
2012 racing season.
...
The Super Stocks were the first division of the morning. Tires
selection and uniform rules with surrounding tracks for the upcoming
season opened the discussion. Many other ideas including the potential
of a Triple Crown series with other tracks were tossed around to
increase the car count for this popular division.
Street Stocks were up next. No major changes were to be expected.
There was talk of combining the Street Stocks and the Cyclones. Engine
and tire talk filled the remainder of the allotted time.
The always spirited Dwarf Car competitors closed out the morning
session. Suggestions were brought forward to make the older engines
more competitive with the newer power plants. As this division
continues to grow there was talk of a longer distance race in
conjunction with the North East Classic Lites and a contingency of
Dwarf racers out of Canada who raced at Riverside last October.
The Outlaw and Late Model Divisions filled the afternoon session. It
was announced that several new teams will be hitting the high banks of
Grovetona for the upcoming season. No major rule changes are
anticipated for either division.
Riverside Speedway management announced the 2012 scheduled is starting
to take shape with several major announcements due in the upcoming
weeks. The schedule is looking like a 16 week season with each
division slated to run 8-12 times. Also management is committed to
finishing the nights events in 3-3.5 hours.
Riverside Speedway extends a big thanks to all who attended the
meetings. The updated rules and forms will be available soon on the
speedway website
